From Fukuoka to Singapore

While on the plane heading to Singapore, I glanced out the window and saw layers of clouds stacked up.

The topmost thin clouds drew a straight line between the sky and the clouds below.

Beneath them, the heads of cumulus clouds were popping up, and even lower, there were small clusters of clouds scattered over the sea.

It looked beautiful, so I took out my camera.

From the plane heading to Singapore. Beyond the wing and engine, layers of clouds

I decided to go with black and white because I felt it highlighted the shapes of the clouds and the roundness of the engine better.

The black of the sky was deeper than I expected.
